Madi has always had a deep connection to the outdoors, and her love for nature plays an essential role in her life. Whether she’s scaling rock faces on a climbing trip, navigating hiking trails in search of new vistas, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk with her dog, Madi finds solace and inspiration in the natural world. This passion for the outdoors not only fuels her personal life but also aligns with her strong values of health, wellness, and sustainability—qualities that she brings into her professional approach as well.

Educationally, Madi is highly versatile, holding a variety of diplomas in fields that reflect her wide-ranging interests. She earned a Diploma in Equine Science from Olds College, where she gained an in-depth understanding of animal care, behavior, and management. This foundation ignited her desire to further explore the world of animal welfare, which led her to pursue a Diploma in Human Resources. She saw human resources as a key area where she could make a meaningful impact on both organizational success and employee well-being. Now, Madi is expanding her expertise even further by working toward a Diploma in Veterinary Assistant through Robertson College, reinforcing her commitment to animal care and expanding her ability to help in both professional and volunteer capacities.

Throughout her educational journey, Madi has also gained valuable hands-on experience working with animals in shelters, where she’s had the opportunity to apply her knowledge to real-world situations. Her time in the shelter system has sharpened her problem-solving skills, strengthened her ability to work under pressure, and deepened her understanding of the emotional and logistical challenges that come with caring for animals in need. Madi’s passion for this work is evident in the many personal projects she has taken on, all aimed at improving her skills and contributing meaningfully to the communities and causes she believes in.
